Well, what can I say? It’s finally here – thanks to my publishers and Easons for finally sharing the cover for my new book! What do you think? I’m totally in love with it, I just want to dive in there next to Elizabeth, Lucy and Jo….
Of course, the cover reveal is, in many ways, just another step on the journey to publication. You know the way they say it takes a village to raise a child – well, books are a little like that!
This one started out with the idea of Elizabeth, but then, somehow it grew into something far greater than I had imagined for any of the women on the page. Those of you who are familiar with the west of Ireland, will recognise Ballycove as a hybrid of so many little places dotted along the north west Atlantic coast. Those of you who haven’t yet come here – well, what can I say, once more, Welcome to Ballycove…
This time, I’m delighted to introduce you to three women who may not have made all the right decisions in life, but bouyed up by each other and a mad notion to take on the nearby water by moonlight find that the solution to their worries is perhaps much closer to hand than they at first believed.
The book takes the journey with them as they set out not only to change their own lives, but also the lives of others – this hasn’t been compared to the Calendar girls for nothing!
I have to warn you, there will be tears, but also, there’s a lot of unfettered lunacy and heart warming tenderness. I do hope you’ll join me for this next adventure, it looks like the best one yet 🙂
Now, down to the nitty gritty, I know, where, when and all that stuff! The Ladies Midnight Swimming Club will hit shops and ebook retailers next May 2021. Hopefully, all going well and with the current times far behind us, I’ll be out signing and with a little luck, if you keep an eye out, we’ll launch this book together…
Till next time,
Faith xxxxx
