An Post Book Awards

I’m delighted to share that THE BOOKSHOP LADIES has been nominated for an An Post Book Award in the Ireland AM Popular Book of the Year Category.

It’s sitting on a shelf in the very best of company, next to Ceceila Ahern, Rachel English, Marian Keyes, Ross O’Carroll Kelly and Graham Norton.

Of course now that it’s been chosen – which is lovely and quite an honour it has to gather up a few votes – so if you’ve enjoyed reading it or any of the books on the shortlist – there are different categories and something there for everyone, do vote here:

A little about the awards: The An Post Irish Book Awards are a set of industry-recognition awards set up by a coalition of Irish booksellers in 2007. Thousands of ordinary readers vote to select the winners every year. Libraries and bookshops showcase the best books of the year in the run up to Christmas. Winners in each category are chosen by popular vote.
